About Sichuan Panda Park
Pandas are animals that live only in Gansu, Shaanxi and Sichuan provinces, China. Currently, this country has more than 2,000 pandas, of which 70% live in Sichuan province. There is also a panda conservation and research center here, known by the shorter name Sichuan Panda Park. Every year, this place welcomes about 3 million visitors to admire the funny pandas.

History and scale of Sichuan panda park
Sichuan Panda Park was established in 1987, this is a non-profit care and conservation place for many rare species of pandas that are in danger of extinction. This conservation facility is located on Mount Futou.
The entire reserve has a total area of 9,245 square kilometers with 9 scenic areas and 7 protected areas. Besides pandas, Sichuan panda park is also home to many endangered animals such as snow leopards, red pandas, clouded leopards.

Particularly, panda museum with the largest area of 4000 m2 was established in 1993. This is the only place in the world that focuses on caring and conserving rare and precious animals listed in the world's red book. Currently, the reserve has 3 exhibition halls including butterfly, panda and vertebrate galleries.
In 2003 - 2004, a green corridor was built at the park to create a natural environment for pandas. When it was first established, the Sichuan panda park had only 6 giant pandas. By 2008, the panda population had increased to 100.
